Our Story 

Shade & Shutter Concepts began in 1997 with one skilled craftsman and a passion for creating beautiful, high-quality wood plantation shutters. Nearly 30 years later, our family-owned business remains committed to the same values: thoughtful craftsmanship, lasting durability, and exceptional attention to detail.

What began with plantation shutters has grown to include custom shades and blinds, all selected and installed with the same care and precision. As these products became an important part of our expertise, we proudly changed our name from Shutter Concepts to Shade & Shutter Concepts in 2024.

Today, we continue to handcraft our plantation shutters, hardwood valances, and wood boxes in our Naples workshop on J & C Boulevard. From your initial consultation and precise measurements to professional installation, our team personally handles every step of the process.

We’re proud to carry on the Shutter Concepts legacy while continuing to improve, innovate, and provide window treatments made for the way you live.
